Thailand offers a diverse range of visa options to accommodate tourists, professionals, retirees, investors, and long-term residents. Whether you're planning a short holiday or looking to relocate permanently, it's important to understand which visa type best suits your needs.
Thailand provides several short-term visa options for tourism purposes:
Visa Exemption
Citizens of certain countries can enter Thailand without a visa and stay for up to 60 days (30 days + 30-day extension). Eligibility depends on bilateral agreements and current immigration policies.
Tourist Visa (TR)
A single-entry visa allowing a stay of up to 60 days, extendable once for an additional 30 days at a local immigration office.
